Our mission awareness trips give you an opportunity to experience firsthand how your sponsorship helps children and aging persons overcome the obstacles of poverty. You will see how benefits including education, nutrition, clothing and medical care offer hope and assist families in their struggles for survival and development. And you will witness how CFCA sponsorship empowers people to reach out in compassion to others in their communities.
When you visit the projects with CFCA, you travel not as a tourist but as an honored guest and friend of the local people. You will experience the hospitality of the poor, learn about their social and economic realities, and be inspired by their spirituality
Accommodations will be simple but comfortable. You will sample native foods and enjoy cultural presentations. Most of all, you will experience the smiles, love and gratitude of the sponsored children and aging friends.
For travelers who sponsor children, aging friends or religious vocation candidates in the countries we visit, spending time with their sponsored friends is the highlight. We will make every effort for you to be able to meet your sponsored friend.
